Privacy policy

Who we are

Pactifynow (pactifynow.com) is a signing tool. People use it to write an agreement, promise or pact, invite the other party by email, and seal the result with a cryptographic fingerprint and a public verification page. Pactifynow is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password, or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google. We never see your Google password.
• Agreement content: the title, summary, terms and party details you type, and the names and email addresses of the people you invite.
• Signing records: the time each party signed, a one-time code check, the IP address and browser used at signing, and the resulting fingerprints. These form the audit trail that makes a certificate verifiable.
• Technical data: standard server logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To create, send, sign, seal and verify agreements; to email one-time codes and notifications to the parties; to show you your agreements on your dashboard; and to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Google sign-in

If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us so we can create or sign you in to your account. We request only the basic profile and email scopes and store only your name and email. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.

Who can see an agreement

Only the creator and the invited parties receive links to an agreement. Each sealed agreement has a public verification page at its certificate number, which shows the parties' names, signing times and fingerprints so that anyone holding the certificate can confirm it is genuine. Share that link only with people you want to see it.

Storage and retention

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Netlify and Supabase) in secured data centres. Sealed agreements and their audit trails are kept so that certificates remain verifiable. You can ask us to delete your account and any agreements that are not yet sealed.

Cookies

We use one session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
