Terms of service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
The service
Pactifynow lets you write an agreement, invite other parties to sign it with a one-time email code, and seal the result with a cryptographic fingerprint and a public verification page. We provide the tool; you provide the wording and you choose who to invite.
Not legal advice
Pactifynow is a signing tool, not a law firm, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Whether a particular agreement is binding, and what stamp duty or other formalities apply, depends on your jurisdiction and your circumstances. Promises and "just for fun" certificates are expressly not intended to be legal contracts.
Your responsibilities
- Only invite people who have agreed to receive the invitation.
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive or abusive.
- Keep your sign-in details and your manage links private. Anyone with a manage link can act on that agreement.
- Make sure the details you enter are accurate before you send an agreement; wording is frozen once sent.
Sealed agreements
Once every party has signed, the agreement is sealed and cannot be edited by anyone, including us. Its certificate number and fingerprints remain publicly verifiable so that the document can be checked later.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Pactifynow is not liable for losses arising from the content of an agreement, from a party's failure to honour it, or from your use of the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Questions go to hello@pactifynow.com.
